Plastics and Rubber Industry

The plastics and rubber industry has stringent requirements for the mechanical properties, processing performance, and cost control of materials. The company’s calcium carbonate product series and PVC plastic granules effectively meet these industry needs, providing critical support for product upgrades.
(1) Nano Calcium Carbonate
Nano calcium carbonate, as a high-performance filler, offers significant advantages in the production of plastics and rubber. With particle sizes below 100 nanometers, it boasts a large specific surface area and excellent surface activity. Compared to conventional calcium carbonate, it exhibits superior dispersion uniformity, effectively filling the gaps between plastic and rubber molecules while enhancing the cross-linking strength of polymer chains. In the plastics industry, adding 10%–20% nano calcium carbonate can boost the tensile strength of materials like polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) by more than 15%, while also improving wear resistance by 20%. Additionally, this process shortens the processing cycle by 10%, helping to reduce production costs without compromising product performance. In the rubber sector, nano calcium carbonate enhances the hardness and heat resistance of rubber products, increasing the heat resistance of rubber seals and tires by up to 15% and significantly extending their service life. Notably, even lower addition levels can deliver remarkable improvements in performance, further optimizing the cost-effectiveness of production.
(2) Active Calcium (Active Calcium Carbonate)
Active calcium is a surface-modified calcium carbonate product, with its surface coated by oil-affinity groups, giving it excellent compatibility and dispersibility in plastics and rubber. In plastic processing, active calcium enhances the flexibility, strength, and dimensional stability of plastic products, allowing for significantly higher filler levels while reducing resin consumption—and simultaneously minimizing mold wear and extending equipment lifespan. In rubber production, active calcium improves the processing performance of rubber, boosts the surface finish and flexibility of finished products, and results in superior physical and mechanical properties for items like rubber tubes and seals. Additionally, it helps shorten kneading time, boosting production efficiency, ultimately enabling companies to cut energy consumption and lower overall manufacturing costs.
(III) Heavy Calcium Carbonate
Heavy calcium carbonate is primarily used as a low-cost filler in the plastics and rubber industries, while also enhancing product performance. Widely available and economically affordable, it can be added in large quantities to plastic films and rubber products, helping to reduce raw material costs. Moreover, heavy calcium carbonate exhibits excellent processing flowability, which improves the molding properties of plastics and rubbers, preventing issues such as shrinkage and deformation. In PVC plastic processing, heavy calcium carbonate also provides a certain toughening effect, effectively balancing the material's rigidity and toughness to meet the performance requirements of various plastic products.
(Four) PVC plastic granules
Besides the construction sector, PVC plastic pellets are also widely used in the plastics and rubber industry to produce products such as cable jackets, plastic toys, and packaging materials. By adjusting the formulation, the company can achieve customized production with varying levels of hardness and elasticity, catering to the diverse needs of different applications. Moreover, the material's outstanding electrical insulation properties ensure that cable jacket products effectively block electric currents, enhancing electrical safety. In the toy and packaging sectors, the non-toxic and environmentally friendly characteristics of these products meet stringent safety standards, providing consumers with a safe and reliable user experience.
