Environmental Protection Water Treatment Industry

The eco-friendly water treatment industry has high demands for material adsorption performance, purification efficiency, and environmental friendliness. The company’s calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide, and industrial precipitated calcium carbonate effectively remove pollutants from water, helping to enhance water quality purification.

(1) Calcium oxide With Calcium hydroxide
Calcium oxide and calcium hydroxide are primarily used in water treatment to adjust water pH, remove heavy metal ions, and eliminate pollutants. Calcium hydroxide, with its strong alkaline properties, can rapidly increase the pH of acidic wastewater, causing heavy metal ions (such as lead, cadmium, mercury, and others) to precipitate as hydroxides, thereby effectively removing these metals from the water. Meanwhile, calcium oxide works by reacting with water to form calcium hydroxide, and the heat generated during this process helps accelerate the breakdown of organic matter in the water, enhancing the efficiency of wastewater treatment. Both materials are natural and environmentally friendly, ensuring that no new harmful contaminants are introduced into the treated water. Additionally, they offer low treatment costs, making them highly suitable for large-scale wastewater treatment projects.

(2) Industrial Precipitated Calcium Carbonate
Industrial precipitated calcium carbonate is used in water treatment as both an adsorbent and a flocculant. Its porous structure and large specific surface area enable it to effectively capture suspended particles, pigments, organic contaminants, and other pollutants from water. At the same time, industrial precipitated calcium carbonate can bind with phosphate ions in water, forming calcium phosphate precipitates that reduce phosphorus levels and help prevent eutrophication of aquatic ecosystems. Moreover, this material enhances water clarity and turbidity control, ensuring that the treated water meets national discharge standards. Importantly, industrial precipitated calcium carbonate is non-toxic and harmless, meaning it does not pose a risk of secondary pollution to the aquatic environment—making it an ideal choice for eco-friendly water treatment applications.
