June 2023 marked the 22nd National "Safety Production Month," with the theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond." In recent years, ensuring safe production has become a critical issue that all industries must prioritize. Particularly in the manufacturing sector, where safety is of utmost importance, Hangzhou Zhenghe Nanotechnology Co., Ltd. organized an emergency safety drill on the morning of June 29th to enhance employees' safety awareness and safeguard their lives and property.
“Safety” permeates every corner of people’s lives and work—whether it’s ensuring traffic safety when heading out, safeguarding health against illnesses in daily life, or protecting lives and property at work. Indeed, “safety” is a topic that will never go out of style. It’s crucial for employees to understand safety and fire protection knowledge, master the proper use of firefighting equipment, and be well-versed in emergency response measures for fire safety.
1. Three Understandings: Understand the fire hazards of your岗位, understand preventive measures, and understand firefighting methods.
2. Sihui: Know how to call the police, use fire-fighting equipment, organize evacuation and escape, and extinguish incipient fires.
3. How to use a fire extinguisher: Take out the extinguisher; pull out the safety pin; hold the lever with one hand and grasp the nozzle end with the other; aim at the base of the flames and spray (stand upwind).
4. The Eight-Step Evacuation Method: Immediately stop working, turn off all power sources, follow the instructions of your supervisor, head to the designated exit for evacuation, evacuate in an orderly manner, leave behind any personal belongings, gather at the designated assembly point, and clear the way for the fire department.
Finally, we briefed employees on safety precautions in the production workshop and highlighted common workplace accidents as well as effective methods to prevent them. This initiative aims to enhance fire safety awareness among all staff members, ensuring comprehensive protection of the company’s fire safety standards.
